No other destination may be more American than the incredible Mount Rushmore. Located near Rapid City, the monument stands as a testament to the tremendous know how and imagination of Americans. Four U.S. President’s faces are painstakingly carved in the mountain’s solid granite. Visitors will be amazed at the smallest details in the grand monument which was completed in 1941. The faces were carved in the middle of a tremendous and beautiful mountain dominated area known as the Black Hills. This is truly one of the most elegant places in the country.
