Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Buffalo, NY
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Buffalo, New York. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while making a difference in patient care.
Assignment Details:
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights
Location: Buffalo, NY
Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as ordered by physicians.
Monitor and assess patients with respiratory conditions, including those on ventilators.
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and adjust therapy accordingly.
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and disease management.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
Requirements:
Active RRT certification (NBRC).
Active New York Respiratory Therapist license.
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care respiratory therapy experience.
Experience with ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and emergency respiratory interventions.
