Travel Sleep Tech/Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Location: Watertown, New York

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Sleep Technologist/ Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Watertown, NY.

Watertown, located near the Canadian border and the scenic St. Lawrence River, is known for its outdoor recreation, historic sites, and vibrant community. It's an excellent destination for travelers looking to experience a mix of nature and city life.

Responsibilities:

Conduct and monitor overnight sleep studies (PSG, CPAP/BiPAP titration, MSLT, MWT).

Analyze sleep study data and generate accurate reports for physician review.

Provide patient education on sleep disorders and treatment options.

Ensure proper use of sleep monitoring equipment and adherence to protocols.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.

Requirements:

RPSGT, CPSGT, or RRT-SDS certification preferred.

Active state license as required for Sleep Tech or Respiratory Therapy practice in NY.

Minimum 2 years of experience in sleep studies or respiratory therapy.

BLS certification (AHA required).

Strong knowledge of sleep disorders, CPAP/BiPAP therapy, and titration protocols.
