Schedule & Hours

  • Shift: 7AM–7:30PM
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Weekend and call requirements: 2 hours for the oncoming shift
  • Position Highlights Join a collaborative team of 14–16 Registered Respiratory Therapists caring for a diverse patient population across the entire facility. The unit covers acute care, critical care, emergency department, PICU, and NICU, with hands-on use of advanced respiratory equipment and exposure to leading-edge healthcare practices.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 3 years of acute care experience
  • Experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma center
  • Previous work in NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and adult critical care preferred
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred; NRP required for NICU coverage
  • Flexible, communicative team player with a positive attitude
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in a variety of settings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Float between units, including acute, critical, and neonatal intensive care as required
  • Operate and maintain devices including Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, and others
  • Document care activities using EPIC EMR
