Respiratory Therapist Job

The Respiratory Therapist, reports to Department Director, and/or Medical Director, utilizes knowledge and skill at the advanced level to provide direct age-specific and culturally appropriate patient care in the unit and on transport through use of adequate ventilation and oxygenation by use of medical gases and breathing equipment. 

Adult experience required 

Education/Experience requirements 

Requires two years of specialized training in an approved respiratory therapy program or its equivalent and be certified by the NBRC. Requires current Florida Respiratory Care Practitioner license (RCP). Requires current certification in BLS and PALS certification is desirable.
