There may be no more unique place on the Earth than the state of California. The Golden State boasts skiing and snowboarding in the north and a warm and pleasant climate in the south. The major metropolitan areas in the state are seemingly endless. With San Francisco to the north, Los Angeles and Anaheim in the middle and San Diego to the south; California has all the charms of a world onto itself.
California offers amazing theme parks for its millions of citizens and visitors. Knott’s Berry Farm has the distinction of being America’s oldest theme park, but Disney was not far behind as the “Happiest Place on Earth” opened its doors in 1955. Since then many other theme parks have popped up at every corner of the state. Some of the world’s most prominent beaches are contained within the large confines of California. Long, Laguna, Malibu and Venice Beaches are all a few of the many sanctuaries for sun worshippers and fun seekers to be allowed to frolic.
