Knott’s Berry Farm has the distinction of being America’s oldest theme park, but Disney was not far behind as the “Happiest Place on Earth” opened its doors in 1955. Since then many other theme parks have popped up at every corner of the state. Some of the world’s most prominent beaches are contained within the large confines of California. Long, Laguna, Malibu and Venice Beaches are all a few of the many sanctuaries for sun worshippers and fun seekers to be allowed to frolic.
