Over towards the Gulf of Mexico is the region known as Cajun Country. The first settlers in Louisiana settled here in the bayou. In this area, eating is an art. From gumbo and jambalaya to crawfish and shrimp cocktail, your tastes will take flight.

New Orleans has a long way to go to recapture its former glory after Hurricane Katrina, but many areas have shown an incredible resurgence. The French Quarter and Bourbon Street make up the heart of the “Big Easy” and the heart is beating as strong as ever. To experience New Orleans without listening to some great jazz music is a crime.
