Responsibilities include:

Assessing patients for appropriate respiratory treatments and developing individualized care plans based on diagnosis

Monitoring, documenting, and clearly communicating patient conditions to the medical team

Performing advanced respiratory care modalities and specialized procedures

Evaluating patient progress and adjusting medications or treatments as needed for optimal outcomes

Educating patients and their families about health conditions, home care, and community support resources

Providing prompt response as a member of the code and emergency resuscitation team

Qualifications:

Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist

Previous acute care experience preferred
