This contract opportunity welcomes experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists and Certified Respiratory Therapists eager to demonstrate their skills within a dynamic resource team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Department orientation required (2 days)
  • Facility orientation (New Employee Orientation)
  • Shifts/schedules reviewed during interview process
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience, including experience with IPPV/NIPPV ventilators
  • Eligible for North Carolina Respiratory Care Licensure
  • Active RRT or CRT credential
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Resource Team requirement)
  • Experience desired in emergency department (ED), PICU, pediatric CVICU, pediatric PCU, and general medical floors
  • Open to first-time travelers; must reside at least 50 miles from facility
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients throughout the hospital, with a primary focus on neonates and pediatric populations and the flexibility to care for adults as needed
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory technology, including ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV) and utilize the EPIC EMR system
  • Collaborate with a supportive respiratory leadership team and interdisciplinary healthcare colleagues to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to facility protocols while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality
