Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

The Travel Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for:

Providing respiratory care for adult critical care and emergency patients
Managing invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
Performing respiratory assessments and bedside pulmonary function testing
Administering nebulized medications and specialty respiratory therapies
Assisting with emergency airway management and intubation support
Participating in bronchoscopy and percutaneous tracheostomy procedures
Transporting ventilated patients safely throughout the hospital
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and critical care teams
Documenting patient care in accordance with hospital policies
