Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position (flexible scheduling determined by facility needs)
  • Required Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Experience in pediatric respiratory care is highly preferred
  • Proficient in advanced therapies: medication aerosol delivery systems, airway clearance, mechanical ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV, tracheostomy and airway management
  • Familiarity with protocols for Asthma Care, Cystic Fibrosis, BPD prevention, and neonatal rapid response
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert respiratory care using state-of-the-art equipment and evidence-based practices
  • Conduct and interpret blood gas analysis, capnography, and oximetry studies
  • Initiate and monitor therapies such as HFNC, nitric oxide, and Heliox therapies
  • Manage airway and ventilatory support for pediatric patients, including tracheostomy and intubation support
  • Facilitate safe patient transport and participate in rapid response teams
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory management and therapies
