Schedule/Hours

  • Shift: 18:30 – 07:00
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call obligations
  • Travelers typically cover 75% of holidays
  • 6-week scheduling cycles
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ critical care respiratory therapy experience
  • North Carolina RT license and RRT credential; BLS required for all
  • ACLS required for Adult RTs
  • NICU/Peds RTs require PALS and NRP
  • CRT accepted but RRT preferred
  • Previous Level 1 Trauma or high-acuity facility experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with advanced equipment: Servo U, Servo Air, Volara, Aerogen, High Flow, and (ideally) HFJV/HFOV for pediatrics
  • Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapeutic care based on clinical assignments (ICU, NICU, Medical/Surgical floors)
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care plans for diverse diagnoses, including post-surgical, pneumonia, COPD, and asthma
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care
  • Engage in facility and departmental orientation for ongoing professional development
