Schedule/Hours:

  • Qualifications:

  • Certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Current and valid licensure to practice as an RRT
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Recent experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to assignment start)
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and provide respiratory care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments and manage ventilators
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and spirometry
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with policies and regulations
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and care plans
