Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts, 7-7
  • Team-based scheduling
  • Days: every third weekend
  • Nights: every other weekend
  • Rotating holidays in alignment with permanent staff
  • Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Level 1 or Level 2 recent assignment is required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • RRT or CRT credential (NRP & PALS preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license for eligibility verification (must reside outside a 50-mile radius)
  • EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, bedside spirometry experience
  • Strong communication, time management, adaptability, and teamwork abilities
  • Compliance with hospital fingernail policy (no artificial nails in patient care areas)
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonatal patients
  • Provide services throughout all inpatient hospital areas
  • Operate Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion ventilators; Vision, V60, V30, Respironics Bipaps; Airvo2 high-flow equipment
  • Participate in floating assignments as needed across various units
  • Uphold high standards in collaboration and patient care under the guidance of an on-site Lead Therapist
