Qualifications:

Current certification or registration as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)

Valid state licensure as required

Prior experience in acute care or hospital settings is strongly preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and provide respiratory therapy treatments for patients with compromised respiratory function

Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems

Administer prescribed therapeutic procedures such as nebulizer treatments, airway management, and bronchopulmonary drainage

Monitor patient response to therapy, documenting all care provided and reporting changes to medical staff

Educate patients and families on respiratory management and disease prevention

Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
