Step into a vital clinical role delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and diverse respiratory therapies for patients across Intensive Care and General Practice settings. This position involves performing both invasive and non-invasive diagnostics, requiring strong clinical acumen and adaptability. You will also supervise and mentor other therapists, orienters, externs, and students, contributing to clinical excellence and knowledge-sharing throughout a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

  • 3 x 12-hour shifts
  • 1845–0715
  • Every other weekend required
  • Qualifications:

  • Active Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials
  • Current state licensure and certification
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on respiratory therapy experience
  • Proven ability to document patient care thoroughly and accurately
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with patients, physicians, and the healthcare team
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver life-support and emergency resuscitation interventions
  • Monitor and provide various medical gas therapies
  • Conduct invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures
  • Maintain expertise across different clinical assignments as needed
  • Supervise, direct, and delegate to other respiratory staff, orienters, externs, and students
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records and complete all necessary documentation

    $1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
