Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • Qualifications:

  • Current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Valid BLS certification (required)
  • NRP certification preferred
  • Strong clinical skills working with diverse patient populations across varying acuity levels
  • Excellent communication, professional demeanor, and collaborative approach
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to patients under physician direction
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory modalities
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust respiratory interventions as needed, and document thoroughly
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including rapid response and code blue events
  • Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care procedures and disease management
  • Collaborate with nursing, medical, and ancillary teams to promote safe, effective patient care
