Schedule:

  • 8-hour day shifts
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care
  • Minimum of three years’ experience, ideally in a long-term care environment
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Professional in the State of Georgia
  • Proficient with computer applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • Strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory and critical care procedures based on physician orders
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient respiratory status and treatment outcomes
  • Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create and adapt care plans
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory care procedures and home care as appropriate
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable protocols, procedures, and regulations
