Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Valid Respiratory Therapy license
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, ventilator management, and patient assessment
  • Proficiency in collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to thrive under pressure
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures, such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests
  • Manage ventilators, airway devices, and other respiratory equipment
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, making adjustments as needed in collaboration with physicians
  • Educate patients and families on treatments and homecare protocols
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapies and interventions
  • Ensure equipment is sanitized, functioning, and ready for use
