Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week (7:00 pm – 7:00 am)
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • Holiday coverage required (75% of holidays)
  • No on-call or call-back requirements
  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with current NC license
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in respiratory therapy; first-time travelers are welcome
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Resource Team requirements)
  • Proficiency in critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, progressive care, and all floor therapies
  • Comfortable working in adult and NICU settings (no pediatric)
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the home unit
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services for diverse patient populations, including chest pain and stroke center clientele
  • Assess, plan, and implement therapy using advanced modalities and equipment such as Servo ventilators, Trilogy, ResMed, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
  • Collaborate closely with respiratory care leadership and multidisciplinary teams
  • Float to multiple facilities within Region 2 as needed; travel time between facilities during shifts is compensated
