Calling all skilled Respiratory Therapists: an exciting contract opportunity is available for a Registered Respiratory Therapist with expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position is based on a 13-week assignment and requires comprehensive respiratory care skills to support patient health and clinical outcomes.

Schedule:

  • 3x12-hour night shifts: 6:00pm–6:30am
  • On-call: 4 nights per six-week schedule (covering additional clinical areas as needed)
  • Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is mandatory
  • Valid Ohio Respiratory Care Professional license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a healthcare team
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care to patients in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments
  • Monitor patient responses, document interventions, and adjust therapy based on patient needs
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain complex respiratory equipment including ventilators and blood gas analyzers
  • Participate in emergency response situations, including rapid response and code teams, as a respiratory care expert
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy techniques and care plans
  • You will make a meaningful impact by providing expert care to patients in need of skilled respiratory support, especially during nighttime hours and occasional on-call assignments. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing patient recovery and supporting the broader healthcare team.

    $1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
