Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist and/or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Current state licensure required
  • BLS certification; additional advanced life support certifications are a plus
  • Prior experience in acute care, critical care, or hospital-based respiratory therapy strongly preferred
  • Proficient in performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures
  • Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical settings
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to diverse patient populations
  • Administer and monitor respiratory therapy modalities (oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, incentive spirometry, ventilator management, airway clearance techniques, etc.)
  • Perform and evaluate diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, equipment usage, and respiratory health maintenance
  • Accurately document interventions and patient progress in electronic health records
  • Comply with infection control and safety guidelines at all times

    $1,980 - $2,166/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
