Deliver expert care and make an impact in an engaging healthcare setting as a Respiratory Therapist. This contract opportunity allows you to provide essential respiratory support and clinical excellence to patients, working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

  • 7:00pm to 7:30am
  • Every other weekend required
  • Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Previous experience in an acute care or hospital environment highly desirable
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory therapy services for patients of diverse ages and acuity levels
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following prescribed protocols and safety standards
  • Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing advanced life support techniques as needed
  • Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care plans and correct equipment usage
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensuring proper function at all times
