An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide care across ICU, PCU, ED, and general adult acute care units. This contract position begins as soon as possible and spans 13 weeks, offering a dynamic environment for professionals passionate about critical care and respiratory therapy. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality respiratory treatment and positive patient outcomes.

Schedule:

  • Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • No block scheduling
  • Holidays as needed
  • Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials
  • Current NBRC certification
  • Valid NY state license
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ acute care experience
  • 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in ICU, PCU, ED, and medical/surgical floors
  • Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for respiratory conditions
  • Administer and monitor ventilator support and advanced airway management
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

    $1,800 - $1,958/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
