Schedule/Hours

  • 2-3 shifts per week, as arranged with the department
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of NICU transport experience required
  • Active RRT or CRT licensure, with NRP and PALS certifications (STABLE preferred)
  • Advanced neonatal airway and ventilation management skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in neonatal critical care, transport operations, crisis management, and multidisciplinary communication
  • Competence with Hamilton, Cross Vent, TXP equipment; knowledge of paper documentation
  • Familiar with ground and air transport protocols, as well as EMS integration
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Safely perform neonatal transport utilizing conventional, HFOV, CPAP/NIV, and HFNC ventilator management
  • Ensure proper operation and documentation of isolette systems and all patient interventions
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies, ensuring neonatal airway and ventilation integrity during transport
  • Participate in advanced assessment, stabilization, and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Deliver clear, effective communication during handoff and team collaboration
