As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will expand your clinical skills while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in patient care. Schedule/Hours:

  • 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
  • Days: 0630–1900
  • Nights: 1830–0700
  • Every third weekend
  • Holiday coverage every other holiday
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with active WI RT license (processing may take 6–8 weeks)
  • Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of RT experience, including trauma level 2 or 3
  • Critical care and ED experience required
  • Experience with ABGs and CBGs in ICU settings
  • Ability to assist (not independently perform) intubations; King airway placement during code blue
  • Eager first-time travelers and travel duos welcome
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care in all adult units and the ED, occasionally covering pediatric patients in the ED
  • Perform arterial and capillary blood gases, cover EKG department overnight as needed
  • Collaborate with 24/7 in-house neonatologists, hospitalists, and ICU intensivists
  • Utilize advanced medical equipment, including various ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow, and oscillators
  • Attend a structured orientation and work with supportive leadership
