Schedule:

  • PM 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week (Nights)
  • Every other weekend, every other holiday
  • Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
  • Massachusetts Respiratory Care license
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility
  • Recent critical care background in both MICU and SICU
  • EPIC electronic medical record experience
  • Participation on Code Blue team
  • Demonstrated experience making ventilator decisions based on patient/lab assessments
  • Familiarity with lung protective ventilation strategies
  • Preferred: Experience with Level III NICU, Drager XL and v500 Vents, NPS and/or ACCS credentials
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional respiratory care in a Level 1 trauma, critical care setting
  • Manage ventilator support, including assessment, setup, and monitoring
  • Employ lung protective ventilation techniques as clinically indicated
  • Respond rapidly as part of the Code Blue team
  • Document procedures and patient progress accurately in EPIC
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
