Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 6:30pm – 7:00am
  • Includes 1 weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per schedule
  • Your Impact: This role provides hands-on experience in critical and emergency care by performing advanced respiratory therapy interventions and patient assessments in complex clinical settings. You’ll participate in ventilator management, airway procedures (intubation/extubation), cardiac and pulmonary diagnostic testing, medication administration, and mentoring new clinicians. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and patient/family education are central to this position, along with adherence to patient safety initiatives and documentation practices.

    Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT and RCP)
  • BLS and ACLS; PALS and NRP (or within 180 days of hire)
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred
  • At least 6 months of critical care experience required, with exposure to emergency and pediatric care highly desirable
  • Excellent critical thinking, assessment, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems for charting and clinical documentation
  • Ability to foster teamwork and provide positive mentorship to peers and students
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and deliver high-quality respiratory care, focusing on critical care and ventilator protocol management
  • Verify and administer medications, medical gas, and therapies
  • Interpret diagnostic data, manage airways, and conduct arterial blood gas analysis
  • Educate and support patients, families, and new staff
  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with latest protocols

    $1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
