Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel role with varying schedules to meet care needs
  • Essential Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Current state licensure as required
  • Pediatric respiratory care experience preferred
  • Proficiency with aerosol therapy (MDI, DPI, mesh nebulizers)
  • Skilled in airway clearance techniques (PEP, Hyperinflation, IPV, cough assist, tracheostomy care)
  • Familiarity with ventilator management including CPAP, BiPAP, NIMV, NAVA, and negative pressure devices
  • Knowledgeable in blood gas sampling and analysis
  • Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonatal protocol (NRP, T-piece, surfactant, intubation)
  • Comfort with clinical practice guidelines for asthma, CF, RDS, and BPD
  • Competency in monitoring, capnography, pulse oximetry, and ventilator graphic review
  • Able to perform organized equipment cleaning and maintenance
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive pediatric respiratory therapy to diverse patient populations
  • Educate patients and families on therapies and home care techniques
  • Administer aerosol, airway clearance, oxygen, and special gas therapies
  • Conduct airway management, including suctioning, mechanical ventilation, and tracheostomy care
  • Participate in high-risk delivery and rapid response teams
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient progress
  • Maintain high standards for infection control and equipment cleanliness

    $2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
