  • Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certification
  • Previous experience in critical care or rehab settings preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide intensive respiratory care and support patient transport
  • Assess patients and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Administer pulmonary therapies using invasive and non-invasive ventilation, oxygen, and aerosol devices
  • Educate patients and families on treatments and home care upon discharge
  • Perform suctioning, chest physiotherapy, oximetry, capnography, and pulmonary function studies
  • Assist physicians with bronchoscopies, chest tube placements, and tracheostomy care
  • Conduct arterial punctures, laboratory testing, and EKGs
  • Document all treatments, assessments, and outcomes meticulously
  • Communicate effectively during shift hand-offs and with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain equipment and ensure accurate billing documentation
