Schedule:

  • Night shifts (36 hours/week)
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift orientation
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out the full spectrum of respiratory therapy treatments for varied patient populations, including inpatients and outpatients.
  • Administer aerosol therapy, incentive spirometry, M.D.I., suctioning, oxygen therapy, and secretion mobilization techniques.
  • Manage and troubleshoot BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow cannula/humidifier systems, and provide fit testing.
  • Perform arterial punctures and blood gas analysis, ensuring laboratory quality control.
  • Operate ventilators, including V60 BiPAP and Puritan Bennett 980.
  • Accurately document and report all procedures using EPIC, Soarian, and medication management systems.
  • Provide basic life support (BLS) for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
  • Participate in patient transports outside the facility.
  • Support departmental standards, in-service training, and ongoing compliance with policies.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
  • Proven experience in critical care, NICU, and proficiency with both V60 BiPAP and Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
  • Comfortable participating in external patient transport.
  • Current BLS certification for adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
