Key Qualifications:

Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) in good standing

Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional life support certifications such as ACLS preferred

Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, equipment, and patient care protocols

Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and administer respiratory care

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients across age groups as ordered by physicians

Assess patients with respiratory conditions and implement appropriate therapy plans

Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen delivery systems

Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function testing

Educate patients and families on respiratory health, equipment use, and disease management

Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized patient care plans
