Key Qualifications:

  • Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) in good standing
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional life support certifications such as ACLS preferred
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, equipment, and patient care protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and administer respiratory care
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients across age groups as ordered by physicians
  • Assess patients with respiratory conditions and implement appropriate therapy plans
  • Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen delivery systems
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function testing
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory health, equipment use, and disease management
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized patient care plans
