Deliver critical respiratory care in a professional healthcare environment, utilizing your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist. This contract opportunity requires skilled Registered Respiratory Therapists who are dedicated to providing exemplary patient care on evening and overnight shifts.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials required
  • Active, unencumbered license in the state
  • Current BLS certification required
  • NRP certification preferred
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams
  • Experience in acute care or a hospital setting is highly desirable
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver all aspects of respiratory therapy care, including ventilator management, airway care, and oxygen therapy to patients of all ages
  • Conduct respiratory assessments and monitor patient progress, responding promptly to changes in condition
  • Accurately document all therapies, assessments, and interventions in patient records
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding patient care plans
  • Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, providing life-saving interventions as needed
  • Maintain, clean, and calibrate respiratory equipment to ensure optimal function and safety
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and treatments
