Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

At least 2 years of experience in a Pediatric ICU or Neonatal ICU environment

Comprehensive knowledge of ventilator care, airway management, and advanced respiratory modalities for pediatric and neonatal populations

Proficiency in collaborating with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff in high-acuity settings

Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills

Current BLS and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain if required)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver respiratory therapy modalities including administration of oxygen, nebulized medications, and mechanical ventilation for pediatric and neonatal patients

Perform thorough respiratory assessments, identify evolving patient needs, and participate actively in care planning and multidisciplinary rounds

Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety

Accurately document interventions and collaborate in updating care plans

Educate patients and families on therapy goals and respiratory health management
