Required Skills & Experience:

  • Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Current licensure to practice as a respiratory therapist
  • Proven experience in acute care or hospital settings
  • Familiarity with equipment such as ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and pulmonary function testing tools
  • Strong communication and patient interaction abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory disorders following established clinical protocols
  • Administer therapeutic procedures, including airway management, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation
  • Carefully evaluate and record patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatments as needed
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and device usage
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Participate in code response and support airway management during emergencies
