Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential.
  • Current state Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred.
  • Recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a clinical or acute care setting.
  • Ability to assess, monitor, and manage patients requiring respiratory therapy.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including treatments, ventilator management, and airway care.
  • Conduct respiratory assessments and adjust therapy based on patient needs and physician orders.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as ABG sampling and analysis.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, equipment use, and care plans.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including rapid responses and code situations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapies, procedures, and patient progress.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
