Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel/contract position (specific schedules determined during assignment)
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Current licensing in Respiratory Care
  • Pediatric and neonatal care experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient with ventilators, airway management, and advanced respiratory therapies
  • Familiarity with aerosol, DPI, MDI therapies, and medication administration systems
  • Capable of working autonomously and in a collaborative environment
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medicated aerosol, DPI, and MDI therapies including education to patients and families
  • Deliver airway clearance therapies (e.g., clapping, vibration, PEP, IPV, cough assist)
  • Manage high frequency chest wall oscillation, assisted ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV, and high-risk delivery support
  • Provide comprehensive tracheostomy care, suctioning, manual ventilation, intubation assistance, and blood gas analysis
  • Implement and monitor specialized protocols (e.g., HFNC, nitric oxide, surfactant administration, RDS/BPD management)
  • Conduct patient monitoring using pulse oximetry, capnography, ventilator graphics, and spontaneous breathing trials
  • Safely transport patients within facility, providing respiratory support as needed
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and compliance with clinical practice guidelines

    $2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
