As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatrics, you'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise across a broad spectrum of respiratory therapy modalities.   • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Proficient with pediatric respiratory interventions
  • Experience with advanced airway management, aerosol therapy, and ventilator support
  • Familiarity with high-frequency and oscillatory therapies strongly preferred
  • NRP certification is a plus
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medicated aerosol therapies including small volume nebulizers and patient education
  • Perform airway clearance procedures—clapping, PEP therapy, hyperinflation, and more
  • Manage complex airway needs (suctioning, tracheostomy care, ventilator checks, CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV)
  • Support high-risk deliveries, including surfactant administration and intubation following NRP protocols
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret blood gases
  • Implement humidity therapies and clinical practice guidelines (asthma, RDS, CF care, etc.)
  • Monitor with advanced technology (pulse oximetry, capnography, transcutaneous CO2, ventilator graphics)
  • Facilitate safe patient transport and participate in Rapid Response Teams
  • Administer and troubleshoot special gas therapies (inhaled nitric oxide, Heliox)
  • Maintain and clean respiratory equipment
