You will contribute vital expertise as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, focusing on pediatric care while supporting a broad array of respiratory procedures.   • Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
  • Prior pediatric respiratory care experience preferred
  • Proficiency in current respiratory equipment and techniques
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medicated aerosol therapies: SVNs, vibrating mesh nebulizers, MDIs, DPIs, and pentamidine
  • Perform airway clearance therapies using PEP, IPV, acoustic airway clearance, cough assist, and more
  • Manage airways, including tracheostomy care, suctioning, manual and ventilator support, CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV initiation, and NAVA management
  • Support high-risk deliveries: surfactant administration, NRP protocols, intubation
  • Conduct blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
  • Provide humidity therapies and adhere to clinical practice guidelines for asthma, CF, RDS, and acute syndromes
  • Monitor patient status with pulse oximetry, capnography, ventilator graphics, and advanced monitoring devices
  • Facilitate safe patient transport and emergency response, including operating specialized portable units
  • Administer oxygen and special gas therapy, troubleshoot inhaled nitric oxide systems, and maintain equipment hygiene

    $2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
