Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment; specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality pediatric respiratory care including advanced therapies such as medicated aerosol therapy, airway clearance, hyperinflation therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Perform ventilator system checks, manage CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV, high-risk deliveries, and respiratory interventions such as intubation assistance, surfactant administration, and tracheostomy care.
  • Apply clinical practice guidelines in asthma, cystic fibrosis, RDS management, and acute respiratory conditions.
  • Perform advanced monitoring: pulse oximetry, capnography, ventilator graphics interpretation, and blood gas analysis.
  • Execute respiratory care consults, assist with respiratory equipment cleaning and maintenance, and support internal transports (including MRI).
  • Participate in the Neonatal Rapid Response Team, high flow nasal cannula protocols, and nitric oxide therapy.
  • Qualifications:

  • Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with current state licensure.
  • Proven competency in pediatric respiratory care and advanced respiratory modalities.
  • Experience with medication administration systems and medical device technology is highly desired.
  • Ability to provide patient and family education for therapies.
  • NRP certification preferred.

    $2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
