As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a hospital environment. Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Administer various respiratory therapy modalities, including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation
  • Monitor patient responses and document progress or changes in condition
  • Educate patients and families about respiratory therapy treatments and equipment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans
  • Maintain and calibrate respiratory care equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols
  • Keep accurate records of all therapies administered and patient outcomes

    • Qualifications:

  • Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical situations
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
