As a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatrics, you’ll gain valuable exposure to a wide variety of respiratory care practices and state-of-the-art therapy protocols. Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible shifts available to accommodate travel and exploration
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive pediatric and neonatal respiratory care, including airway clearance therapies, mechanical ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV), surfactant administration, and intubation assistance
  • Educate patients and families on inhaled therapies, utilizing MDI, DPI, nebulizers, and more
  • Perform blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
  • Participate in high-risk deliveries and neonatal rapid response, including nitric oxide therapy and ventilation support
  • Manage transport respiratory needs including MRI/internal transport and maintain accurate documentation and medication administration
  • Uphold equipment cleaning standards and follow clinical practice guidelines for asthma, CF, RDS, and acute chest syndrome care
  • Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid RRT credential, with current state licensure
  • Pediatric experience preferred; proficiency in neonatal and advanced respiratory interventions valued
  • Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
