Contribute your expertise in a dynamic tertiary care and teaching facility recognized as a Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, Level 3 NICU, and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position (shift details to be provided during interview process)
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
  • At least 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
  • Previous experience in NICU/PICU settings
  • Proficiency with Meditech documentation system (preferred by director)
  • Advanced skills in respiratory technology and treatment modalities
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high flow devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servos, continuous and regular nebulizer therapy, Nitric Oxide, Heliox
  • Adaptable, collaborative team player with a patient-centered approach
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a multidisciplinary team
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced respiratory care, treatment, and evaluations for neonatal and pediatric patients, utilizing a wide range of specialized equipment and therapies
  • Accurately document all patient interventions in Meditech
  • Float to provide respiratory support on adult floors as needed, including nebulizer treatments, BIPAP, and CPT
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit
