Working at a 240-bed acute care facility, you’ll collaborate closely with a seasoned team of respiratory therapists, gaining exposure to state-of-the-art equipment, including the Hamilton G5 ventilators and the Meditech EMR system. With flexible scheduling, you’ll have ample opportunity to enjoy Denver’s hiking trails, museums, and lively neighborhoods during your downtime. This role is ideal for those aiming to diversify their experience while learning from innovative leaders in respiratory therapy across a range of care settings, including NICU, ICU, ED, and Med-Surg.
Schedule/Hours:
• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Flexible scheduling options available
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital RRT experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• CRT or NBRC required
• Preferred: Meditech, PICU, or NICU experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy and patient education
• Manage ventilator setup and assist with intubation
• Perform ABGs and a wide array of RT therapies
• Lead or assist in ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, and Med-Surg settings
• Act collaboratively within a collegial, team-focused environment
• Exercise autonomy, especially in NICU/ICU therapy and ventilator liberation
